Upon the sea of commerce dark and cold,
Desire for metal wanes, the gold doth fade,
As bidden by China's want and turmoil's hold,
Upon storm-tossed waves, all fortunes weighed.

In ancient lands of Hellenic domain,
Great Zeus awaits, with joy his children blessed,
Kyriakos' triumphs, with laurels gained,
For by his hand is their economy pressed.

Famed Nippon's isle, with glory now reborn,
Nikkei's bounds to reaches yet unknown,
In Odin's gaze, the sun of thirty-three winters worn,
With valor, wealth, and might in great winds blown.
