Upon thicketed ways of Wagner's kin,
In Rus' heart where strife dost hold its sway,
Yevgeny, bold, his forces reins to win,
And halt descent in civil war's display.

Where waters of Yellowstone do flow,
Lo, bridge asunder, train cars slip beneath,
Of asphalt, sulfur laden, whispers grow,
One drinks those tides with heed in times of wreath.

Far o'er the lands, the West doth cast a stance,
Keen not to court Wagner-Kremlin strife,
With balance sought, no sides in thorny dance,
Avoiding meddling in this ill strife.
