Upon Nikkei's field, a goat doth stray,
Through stocks of silicon and iron's mire.
His gain doth cover banker's and craftsmen's dismay,
In balance, at day's end, their plight no dire.

The dignified hound seeks time to run,
Through a maze of charges, he needs to pace.
Indictment's snail trail, under the court's sun,
Calls for a moment to review his trace.

Chinese hares once leapt with fervor and clout,
Drew the eye of the great global owl in flight.
Yet their euphoria did tattle, now no shout,
Shadows grow long as others take the light.
