Harken, folk, to Saudi's noble quest,
In the Kingdom's game of power, none rest.
With Beijing's pledge, the scales they tilt,
A nuclear marvel, from sand to silk.

Sadly the price of oil falters low,
Despite OPEC's restraint, the profits slow.
Uncertainty cloaks the demand's path,
In the hush of the market, we feel the wrath.

China calls, with tender breaks of tax,
On the housing market, buyers relax.
In effort to lift the downturn's gloom,
For new homes, old ones create room.
