The Nikkei's fall, a flight of doves in winter's grip,
By chip and finance, stocks do slip.
Like ramps tumbling in the market's trip,
A snail's loss in the economic dip.

In Japan's land, where cherry blossoms bloom in spring,
A JGB auction stirs, a hopeful zing.
Rabbits' ears pricked at the fiscal ring,
Good demand may this new year bring.

To last year's peak, might USD/IDR tread,
In strength and rise, much like a stag's proud head.
Yet caution, dear goat, for markets oft misled,
Tis not always green in the economic bed.
