In the house of governance, a furor wild,
'midst wars new and old, the leader's child,
Arguing like tavern drunks, vision defiled,
To heavenly aid, our woes are thus compiled.

Vexed by turmoil in the East, a delicate fate,
Rises the cost of oil's weight,
If the U.S. doth falter, 'tis a sorry state,
The ale of economy turns bitter, sealing our gate.

CEO of Exxon, Darren the steadfast,
In oil he trusts, his lot he's cast,
From doubters' chins, the ale is dashed,
To him, a mighty feast at last!
